What Guests Say
Guest reviews on Google Maps show a sharp split in experience, with the most recent reviews pulling the average noticeably below the overall 3.8★ score.
Among positive accounts, guests highlight the hotel’s convenient position near the Matha Kulam Bus Stop and proximity to the Old Velankanni Church. Santhosh Santhosh, who stayed two months ago, writes: “The rooms are spacious. The breakfast is good, lunch and dinner also available with a decent menu. The staff were professional and courteous through the stay. Very big car parking available.” Maharaj Gugan, also from two months ago, adds: “The hospitality was excellent and all the staff were courteous and attentive.”
Recent critical reviews, however, raise consistent concerns. Preethi Jeyakumar (8 months ago) writes: “Rooms were not clean, bathroom was worst with water stagnant and not even a dental kit for the price - they should only charge ₹1,500 for the infrastructure.” Ann Annie (3 months ago) reports: “The bedsheets were untidy and did not appear to be properly changed. The staff were very rude and unhelpful.” Emmanuel Sam (4 months ago) flags non-functioning air conditioning and food quality problems.
Pilgrims who plan to book are advised to call the property directly to verify current room standards, particularly during off-peak periods when staffing levels may vary.
