Before you book a small stay

• Many have only a handful of reviews. More than half of the stays in this table with their own Google listing have fewer than 20 reviews. Read the reviews that are there, and call the host before you pay anything.
• Ask exactly what you are booking: a room, a floor or the whole house, how many beds, and whether the bathroom is attached.
